The DSI AR-15 Buffer Tube Castle Nut is a steel castle nut designed to secure the receiver extension and end plate on compatible AR-platform carbine buffer assemblies.
Unlike traditional castle nuts that typically provide only four staking dimples, the DSI castle nut incorporates numerous staking dimples around its perimeter. This provides more staking-position options when securing the castle nut to the end plate during installation.
