The DSI Extended Pivot and Takedown Pin Set is designed to make upper and lower receiver separation easier without requiring a tool. Originally developed for fixed magazine AR-15 configurations, the extended pins are also a practical upgrade for standard AR-15 builds.
Low-profile hourglass-style pull ends provide additional grip for manual removal while minimizing interference with compact stocks and PDW-style braces. The pins are manufactured from alloy steel and nitride heat treated for durability and wear resistance.
