The Custom Bastion Armory NUB’S Trainer starts with a Tippmann Arms M4-22 Elite and has been rebuilt to closely replicate the look, handling, and overall feel of the NUB’S NE-15 Race Rifle. The result is a dedicated .22 LR trainer that brings the aesthetics and controls of a full-size race rifle into a lightweight rimfire platform. This build was put together with the goal of giving shooters a familiar setup for training, practice, and range use while maintaining the distinctive look of the NUB’S rifle.
The build features a Geissele MK14 15″ rail paired with an Unrivaled UB 5.56 brake for the race-rifle-inspired appearance. A Geissele SSA-E trigger provides a refined trigger setup, while the Driven Arms Co. VCG-L grip, magwell, Shortstop, and rail covers add to the ergonomics and overall configuration. The lower receiver setup is completed with an LBE DDC buffer tube, Magpul DT-PR stock, and Radian Talon 45-degree safety selector.
Built as a dedicated trainer, the NUB’S Trainer takes the familiar Tippmann M4-22 Elite platform and gives it a custom configuration inspired by the NUB’S NE-15 Race Rifle. The combination of premium components, distinctive styling, and .22 LR operation makes this a unique addition to any collection and an excellent way to replicate the look and controls of a race-oriented AR platform in a rimfire package.
